Consider spending a few hours cheering wildly with some of Arenal Volcano Region's spectators at a local game. Saprissa Stadium is 55 miles (90 kilometers) to the southeast of El Castillo. Stay close to the action at the Hotel Grano de Oro or the Crowne Plaza San Jose Corobici.

Juan Santamaria International Airport is a primary entry point for those flying into El Castillo. You can find it 45 miles (76 kilometers) from the downtown area.
