My friends and I traveled to Paris to see Beyonce in concert and Hotel Joke was the perfect host. The hotel is really cute with creative decor but the staff was truly incredible each member we encountered was friendly, kind, and helpful. What we loved most about the hotel is how centrally located it is, it's literally in walking distance of Moulin Rouge and so many other fun/amazing establishments. We really had the time of our lives and would absolutely return to Hotel Joke.

The hotel is very loud with doors constantly slamming and the aircon broke. It was one of the worser hotels I have stayed in.

This hotel has small but thoughtfully designed rooms. The atmosphere is playful--everything was clean, the staff was great. I didn't get the breakfast, but it looked great. There were plenty of cheap breakfast options right outside the door. The concierge Rocio was very warm, friendly and helpful.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Near Metro and plenty of choice for restaurants. This comes with a downside. If room facing road you can expect approx 4 hrs sleep per night. Soundproofing doesn’t exist.

The hotel has air conditioning, which was welcome during the early July heatwave but it is on a BMS so only goes down to 19C. For a last minute reservation, this was a pleasant stay.

We like the free snacks from 2pm-2am. This makes a huge difference. The hotel location is also a big plus, close to the metro stations and having a lot of dining options close by. I felt safe in the hotel. All around great hotel and I highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Paris.

There was a problem with the booking. It may not have been the fault of the hotel, but there was a problem. The staff were not sympathetic nor did they make any attempt to resolve the issue. They didn’t seem to give a toss. Hotel Joke by name joke by nature.

This was my second 2 week stay at the Hotel Joke. What can I say, I love the neighborhood. Within a 5 minute walk you have a five Guys, a Starbucks, 4 or 5 boulangeries, the Moulin Rouge, a couple fantastic Chinese restaurants, a handful of typical French cafes, countless other restaurants that have pizza, pho soup, Italian food, Japanese food, a couple flower shops, a butcher, a seafood market, a couple produce markets. Not to mention you can catch multiple Metro lines and bus lines within that same five minute walk. The neighborhood has a little gritty side to it with a few massage parlors and adult shops, but it’s not overbearing. Safety has never been an issue. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and their English is way better than my French. The breakfast is good with many choices including cold cuts, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, cheeses, pickles, toast, potatoes, sausage etc and it has slight variations each day. The free snacks come in handy sometimes and are pretty good quality. Potato chips, dried fruit, walnuts, candy etc that you can grab on the go or after a long afternoon of sight seeing. The rooms are relatively quiet and you don’t get much noise from the street. My only complaint on this subject is the noise from room doors. They are quite loud. But if the guests were a little more considerate and gently closed the door instead of just letting it slam, this wouldn’t be an issue. The entry to the hotel is locked 24/7 and you must ri

Room is small butthat is expected in Europe. To one side you have the moulin rouge ( kind of sketchy at night) and if you go the opposite way, you have several nice restaurants . The cookies the lobby puts out are a nice treat and are delicious! Overall, happy with the hotel.

Great property close to the Moulin Rouge, close to the subway and lots of restaurants nearby. The snacks and beverages they offer a a really nice touch. I would stay here again
