"Palm Springs Weekend"
Palm Mountain Resort and Spa is always my first choice when visiting Palm Springs, mainly because of its downtown accessibility. It's a block from Starbucks (always a good thing first thing in the morning) and a block from the Art Museum and walkable to lots of shops, galleries, and restaurants. I love the fact that I can walk so many places. The hotel itself is fine - not fancy, but certainly acceptable. I've stayed there numerous times over the years. They've really made some improvements and have even added a new wing. Interestingly, I have never used the pool or spa there, although there is a charge for the pool and spa above the room price, whether you use those amenities or not. That's the only think I'm not crazy about, but I'm willing to pay it to be in such a convenient location.

"I was taken back in time "
The overall vibe was amazing! We are already planning a trip back. It's a party, but not too crazy like Vegas. A very creative feel, friendly artistic crowd

"Nice stay. The hotel was nice and clean. "
When I was checking in I was given the room area and number. It turns out that we were put on the second floor. I spoke with a very, very nice employee by the name of Sylvia. I told her my concern. I have a disabled Sister. The second floor was going to be not impossible, but very concerning how to get her up through the stairs. Sylvia informed us that were was no elevator access. She "Sylvia" did her magic on the computer.... she got us to a room that was for "disabled customers". She was so helpful, and so very kind! I will go back to the Royal Inn. Marylou Diaz

"Nice but not perfect"
We had a good time and the staff was very nice. There was a parking garage being built right outside our window. Our bathroom door would get stuck. Also the bathtub nozzle constantly leaked. TVs played super dark non HD channels on a HD TV (super annoying).
