Our family stayed at many vacation rentals throughout the world, and this pool house is right at the top it terms of comfort, generosity and communication level of the hosts, cleanliness, and quality of furniture/bedding and appliances. We drove for 3 days to vacation at this house and when we arrived we found a generous amount of snacks with flowers and a card on the kitchen table. The fridge and cabinets had essential food items that allowed us to delay going to the grocery store until the next day. Dustie and Dale went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They also had a couple of bottles of wine for us which we appreciated. The pool area exceeded our expectations. The hosts use a solar heating system which allowed us to keep the pool heated throughout our whole stay for no extra charge. There is everything you need in a vacation home at this property: beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, floats for the pool (adults and kids), excellent appliances, extra bedding and towels, as well as hotel-style bath robes and slippers. There are wild birds around the house which the kids enjoyed (we even found an egg next) and the property has a large backyard allowing the pool area to feel secluded and tranquil. There are 3 seating areas with different TVs which allowed our two families to conveniently watch what we wanted. There are also TVs in the bedrooms. Although we didn’t use it, there is a small office area that would work well for someone working remotely or needing to stay connected. The house is in a neighbourhood that is quiet and is about 3-4 miles away from shopping places, grocery stores, and restaurants. The only thing to note is that the house does not have an open concept and is not too big. However, it is accurately described and looks exactly like the pictures listed. This year was hard and we needed a break. Thank you Dustie and Dale for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We made great memories here and we are very grateful to you.
