The room had a weird smell, dust and mildew in the main bedroom bathroom. Also, the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was not a true suite but separate units with adjoining door. Not the best for what we needed as a family. The makeup mirror was a nice touch and had amble towels, extras toiletries and toilet paper in bathroom plus extra kitchen supplies. The property was nice with many activities. We had a good time.

Liked how much there was to do there. Just didn’t like the fact the bedroom was near the walk way and no curtain to close/block light coming from the walk way and I need it completely dark to sleep.. and a little weird you can still see through the blinds they had. I ended up hanging a sheet to cover the window but will probably think about staying somewhere else because of this.

So we booked through Travelocity a few months in advance. Flight, resort and vehicle. Everything was fine until we get to the resort and pay the added $138 resort fee. This is when we are told that the waterpark (Shipwreck Island) is not part of the resort fee and that to access it and the several areas their, it is $25 per person, per day to use. I looked through all of my Travelocity information and cannot find where that certain amenity which looks amazing, is now a pay as you go extra. I made a complaint to Westgate and they said it was not their problem because it was Travelocity's responsibility to let me know certain amenities are not included. With that, the resort is nice. There are 13 other pools. One has a bar but the drinks are super expensive ($14) and they put very little alcohol in them. We just brought our drinks to the pool. I believe they are a time-share resort too so be ready to get invited to tour the place. It has a ton of security so you feel safe. If we would've gotten access to the waterpark, I would rate this a 4.5 out of 5. The mexican restaurant was really good. It is a nice property, but I am still pretty steamed about the resort fee not including that waterpark area.

We loved our stay there, so much to do and not enough time to do it all!!we had a Medieval Time show and a Luau scheduled for 2 nights offsite and wished that the mini Golf and tennis were still open when we got back .i loved thatbit had so much for kids to do and so Family friendly! The staff was great and the place was so clean, pools were also clean, GREAT place.

It’s a very huge property. It was dark. We had trouble finding our building. Once we did, we pulled out our key card only to find out that there was no room number on the key card. We then had to go back to the front desk, waiting in line just to get our room number so we could get in to our room

New remodel is everything! Nice staff! Rooms large not tiny teeny like most hotels - feel like home away home and the shower / jet tub is amazing! It’s worth every dollar! Great amenities and the game room is nice! I’ll be back, I always come back! We need more Westgates in Florida please!!!!!

I was checked into a room that was already occupied this could have caused harm to me. when address i was interrogated by security than assigned to another room that was supposed to be an upgrade for my troubles which was also a disappointment because the shower flooded the bath room but maintance was sent right away to fix the problem it only decreased the flooding because the shower was still leaking water on the floors then when we used the dishwasher it over flowed and the whole kitchen floor was wet. after the shower flooded the bathroom, we used every towel in the suite to get the water up and requested more and was asked questions about why i needed them. i was told that I would received the resort fee refunded (102.00) but only received 92.00 refunded again another disapointment went to the reasturant to get food and the bar server Tyler ignored us until we made it known then he still slowly acknowledged us took our order and we asked him to turn the TV he never did so we just left eith eating
