We recently stayed at this home for a family trip. The neighborhood and layout were nice, but there were several issues. Upon arrival, we noticed the outside trash bin was broken. Inside, multiple items were damaged, and I took photos immediately. There’s a sign to remove shoes upstairs, yet the carpet clearly needed shampooing. Downstairs floors appeared unmopped—our kids’ socks were filthy.The biggest issue was roaches. We saw one the first night and the host quickly sent pest control the next day. However, baby roaches were coming onto the counters while we made breakfast, and we continued seeing them throughout our stay—even swarming an empty pizza box left briefly on the counter. The treatment felt rushed and ineffective.Cleanliness was also lacking. There was hair on a bed and in the shower, and stains in a downstairs tub. We were told it required special treatment, but it should’ve been addressed before arrival. The theater room was nice, but front chairs were broken. The pantry handle was also broken.We followed parking rules, yet our car was towed the last night. We paid 150 to avoid impound and never received proof we were parked incorrectly. The AC also struggled upstairs (76 at night).The host was responsive, but the home needs deep cleaning, pest control, and maintenance.
