Terrible Experience – Would Never Recommend
The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was clearly never cleaned — the toilet seat had disturbing blood stains I don’t even want to describe, the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, and the whole room smelled awful. This was in the building opposite the front desk. I was already exhausted and arriving late at night, so getting a room in that condition was the last thing I needed.
I immediately went downstairs (after waiting forever for their painfully slow elevator) and asked to change rooms. Thankfully, the staff did move me to another room in the main building near the front desk, which was slightly better. However, even that one had issues — no bath mat, barely any toiletries, and just a single soap bar provided.
The so-called “free shuttle” to Universal Studios is a complete joke. It only runs once a day at 8 AM — way too early, especially since Epic Universe doesn’t even open until 10 AM on Sundays. And to make things worse, the shuttle only goes to Universal Studios, not Epic Universe. You have to get off there and take another shuttle, wasting even more time. I didn’t bother using it for the rest of my four-day stay.
The breakfast wasn’t any better — the juice tasted like flavored water and the options were minimal. Overall, nothing about this hotel was worth the money. I would never stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
