The Toussaint house is centrally located in the Midcity neighborhood of New Orleans. A culturally rich, colorful and diverse community. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Popular eatery serving up generous plates of classic breakfast & lunch eats in a homey atmosphere or stop quick and get a iced latte at Coffee science, just a 2 minute walk off the porch. Close to City Park to exercise or visit the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, with its antique wooden carousel, and the New Orleans Museum of Art, home to an eclectic global collection and a sculpture garden. Eat dinner at 1 of 3 locally owned delicious restaurants Neyow’s Creole cafe, Soule Cafe and Fharmacy. There’s also a Wholefoods markets .5 mi away. Ready to party, head downtown on canal st. and enjoy beignets and catch lots of beads on Bourbon st. Or if you’re lucky enough to visit on Fat Tuesday during Mardi Gras, grab a drink and walk 10 blocks to the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Mid-City has a way of drawing you in slowly - the scent of coffee drifting from a nearby café, the rustle of oak trees lining the street, the unhurried pace that makes New Orleans feel like home rather than a destination. This restored three-bedroom house sits right in the middle of it all, offering six guests a grounded, character-filled base from which to experience the city on your own terms.

Living space
Tall windows pull natural light deep into the main living area, where exposed brick walls and thoughtful updates give the space its particular warmth. Settle into the living room with a Smart TV offering access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime Video - or simply sit back and plan tomorrow's itinerary over a glass of wine. The atmosphere is easy and unhurried, with enough comfort to make a long evening in feel just as worthwhile as a night out.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across four beds, each dressed in crisp linens with room-darkening shades to block out the morning light. Extra pillows and blankets are on hand, along with ample clothing storage and hangers to help you properly unpack and settle in.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is set up for real cooking - refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher all included, alongside cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a hot water kettle, and a coffee maker stocked with coffee. Whether you're pulling together a proper sit-down meal or grabbing a quick bite before heading out, everything you need is here.

Bathroom
Two full bathrooms keep things running smoothly for families and groups. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and cleaning products, and one features a bathtub - a welcome end to a full day on your feet. A hair dryer is also available.

Laundry & home comforts
An in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer without worry. The home is single-level throughout, with self check-in via smart lock making arrival simple at any hour. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and heating keep the temperature comfortable whatever the season brings.

Outdoor living
The covered deck off the back of the home is a proper retreat - shaded seating and a cornhole set make it an easy spot to decompress after a day of exploring. Autumn evenings in New Orleans carry just enough warmth to make outdoor time genuinely enjoyable, and this space delivers it without fuss. Free street parking is available nearby.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children is well catered for - a pack 'n play/travel crib, high chair, and babysitter recommendations are all available. The single-level layout removes any stair concerns, and the self check-in process keeps arrival low-stress.

Mid-City places you within easy reach of the whole city without surrendering the neighborhood feel that makes New Orleans worth staying in. Local cafés, markets, and a Trader Joe's are all walkable, and City Park - one of the largest urban parks in the country - is close by for morning runs or afternoon strolls. The French Quarter sits 1.2 miles away, and when Mardi Gras season rolls around, the Endymion parade route and Sugar Bowl festivities are practically on your doorstep.
