The Toussaint house is centrally located in the Midcity neighborhood of New Orleans. A culturally rich, colorful and diverse community. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Popular eatery serving up generous plates of classic breakfast & lunch eats in a homey atmosphere or stop quick and get a iced latte at Coffee science, just a 2 minute walk off the porch. Close to City Park to exercise or visit the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, with its antique wooden carousel, and the New Orleans Museum of Art, home to an eclectic global collection and a sculpture garden. Eat dinner at 1 of 3 locally owned delicious restaurants Neyow’s Creole cafe, Soule Cafe and Fharmacy. There’s also a Wholefoods markets .5 mi away. Ready to party, head downtown on canal st. and enjoy beignets and catch lots of beads on Bourbon st. Or if you’re lucky enough to visit on Fat Tuesday during Mardi Gras, grab a drink and walk 10 blocks to the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. This restored home puts you right in the middle of it, with City Park a short walk away and the rest of New Orleans easily within reach.

Living space
Tall windows pull natural light deep into the home, catching the texture of exposed brick and the warmth of original architectural details. The living room is a comfortable place to decompress - settle in and stream your favorites on the HDTV with Hulu, HBO Max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. Ceiling fans keep the air moving, and the single-level layout makes the whole space easy to navigate for guests of all ages.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across four beds, each dressed in crisp linens with room-darkening shades for a proper night's rest. Ample clothing storage and extra pillows and blankets are on hand, and the thoughtful setup means everyone has what they need without having to ask.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked and ready - refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hot water kettle, and a coffee maker for your morning routine. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses are all included, so whether you're pulling together a big group dinner or just grabbing breakfast before heading out, the kitchen has you covered.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms keep things running smoothly for a group. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer, and the bathtub adds a welcome option for a longer soak after a full day in the city.

Outdoor living
The covered deck is where the home extends itself - grab a seat, set up the cornhole, and let the evening settle around you. It's a genuinely pleasant spot to wind down, whether you've been out all day or just want some air without going far.

Laundry & practicalities
An in-unit washer and dryer means you can pack lighter and stay longer without worry. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival simple, and free street parking is available for guests with a car. The home is also well set up for families traveling with young children - a pack 'n play/travel crib, high chair, and babysitter recommendations are all available.

Neighborhood
Mid-City sits in a sweet spot: walkable to Trader Joe's, local cafés, and markets, with City Park just around the corner. You're 1.2 miles from the French Quarter, and well-positioned for Mardi Gras Endymion festivities, Sugar Bowl events, and the seasonal festivals that make New Orleans what it is. The neighborhood has a calm, residential feel without any sense of being removed from the action.
