Room needs updating and a good cleaning. Beds were very old uncomfortable and squeaky. One bed had dust ruffle one did not showing bad wear of bed.Tub was falling apart and moldy. Room smelled very musty and moldy. Room was dark and windows did not open. Location was great. Pictures of room very mis leading. The bar may baileys was closed even though its posted hours said open.

Our room was not ready at 4pm, the door keys did not work and turns out the door battery was dead so they switched out room to across the hall and when we realized it was very dark asked to switch back and they would not. All of this made us late for our tour.

The location and staff were fantastic! The courtyard with the pool and the quaint bar, May Baily’s, was an added bonus. However, the room was not-so-fantastic. It was clean, but it stops there. The beds were fulls, not queens and each had a huge pit in them that you rolled into. Only two of the six pillows were worth sleeping on. No room refrigerator was a negative also. Apparently, there were suppose to be two pictures on the wall as the hooks were there, no pics. My sister’s room had wall hooks and wall decor on the hooks. The biggest disappointment was the television on the wall was small, dated and it didn’t work. We had sound, but no picture. We told the desk, maintenance came up, said it didn’t work and nothing else was done. Would have been nice to watch tv in the mornings getting ready and at night before bed. No offering of a new tv or discount were given. If we stay there again, we will stay in a suite or king size room on the other side of the courtyard. Don’t waste your time or money on the “queen” rooms.

My husband wasn't feeling well and the hotel manager let us check in early so he could rest. Cute boutique hotel right in the French Quarter. Very comfortable.

The stay was bad for several reasons: - It took no less than 1 hour (after travelling for 10ish hours) to get checked in because the hotel had no reservation for me. It took a lot of back and forth with multiple Hotels.com agents to finally get added into their system. - The room (as advertised) is not correct. The room I received was not even close to the room I chose, and after asking the front desk, they confirmed that the room advertised (both on Hotels.com and the hotel's website) is actually a suite. So they're advertising a nice room for a good rate to get you to book, but then give you a huge downgrade.. - Hotel staff knocked on my door three times in the 2 hours leading up to check out, which was super annoying. Apparently, they just wanted to know if I was still there?? - I found a cockroach in my bathroom The best part of my stay was Kentrell at the front desk. She was so kind and helpdul!
