Overall a great stay for the price. Comfortable, clean, quiet, yet with a lively vibe in the heart of New Orleans. Friendly staff and all required amenities including breakfast, a pool, bar, and self serve laundry if needed. Definitely nicer than many of the pricier hotels in the area.

i came here cause reviews said awesome .let me start by saying you pay per day, lmao for internet and you dont get any unless your in the lobby, second toliet kept running room old coffee machine mold hallway smells like water always leaking on the carpets its not staff fault dont blame them at all they tried but never again but liked everything close to me was a plus a walked everywhere

Okay stay, booking somewhere else next time though

The breakfast at the La Quinta Inn was fine. It was sausage, egg patties, oatmeal packs, a waffle maker, and plain bread. I was hoping for some type of breakfast potatoes. The staff I interacted with was nice, but the lines were often very long and slow when I wanted to buy something from the very sparse store. The wifi did not work in our room the entire stay. Our room also did not get cleaned the entire five day stay. We had to call for more toilet paper. The door struggled to shut behind us when we left, and the walls were thin to the point I could not fall asleep one night. The pillows were small and a little hard. My back hurt most days. The shower was a bit rusted looking, and they do not give you very much shampoo to use. It was in a very good location though. Very easy to walk throughout the French Quarter. Marjoria Commerce across the street was our favorite restaurant during the trip. The AC also worked really well in our room. It was an okay stay, but I probably will book somewhere else next time.

Room seemed pretty dirty at arrival. After our 3rd or 4th day we asked for clean sheets and arrived back to the room later to find a pile of clean sheets left on the dresser. I’ve never been to a hotel where we have to change the sheets ourselves. That seemed odd. Place seemed understaffed also. We paid for a suite and it wasn’t exactly cheap so it would’ve been nice for it to be cleaner. The waffles downstairs were the best part of our stay. Apparently a recipe of one the staffs Gmothers.

This location is in a convenient place downtown where you're in close enough proximity to walk to locations (and/or receive fast short car services). The check-in check-out system was fast and the staff were kind enough to greet. If you're picky about more modern fixtures in the restroom, everything will exceed your expectations (maybe except the knobs of the shower and the drain, slight peeling of paint on the ceiling over the shower) but everything else was great! If you're in town for more than 3 days, plan to spend about $150+ on parking unless you find somewhere to park that's cheaper and a walking distance away.

There were no spare rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. The first time we left the room the door didn't lock automatically. We found out when we came back and could open it without the card. From then on, we just made sure it was locked before we left. This may happen in other hotels; we don't know.
