When we arrived, no staff were present to check us in. We waited at the front desk for about three minutes before an employee entered from a side door, walked across the lobby, and said only, “Reservation number,” with no greeting or apology. His tone was cold and dismissive.
We were assigned a room on the third floor, but only one light—the bathroom light—was working. A maintenance staff member confirmed this. I returned to the front desk to request another room, and the same employee said, “I don’t have time for this,” before typing aggressively and handing us a new key for room 409.
The second room had better lighting and some updates, but the tub’s paint was peeling, the bathroom door was poorly painted and chipped at the bottom, and the main door had a gap of about 1.5 to 2 inches from the floor. The space between the door jamb and the slab was also large enough to slide a piece of paper through, compromising privacy and comfort.
We had reservations for three nights but checked out after two. When I spoke with the manager, Tahiti, I explained my reasons for leaving early. I understand that every guest experience can differ, but this one did not meet expectations. I would like the owners to contact me regarding a refund for the two nights that I did not stay.
