"This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. "I only wanted a soft bed and a hot shower after camping for 3 nights in Acadia; this motel (it's NOT a hotel) offered that. Very basic small room, clean with A/C, but I loved the grounds; very pretty, and way back off Rt. 3, the main highway on Mt. Desert Island. It is NOT an "ocean view" however; ..."
