We arrived for check in at 10:30pm after a long day on the road & as usual needed to use the restroom & the toilet was dirty & clearly had not been cleaned & would not flush. I called the front desk to complain & request another room & the worker dropped an attitude & said they would try to fix it & get it cleaned. I asked for another room & he insisted there were no others available though they had some online to be booked. About 25 minutes later someone came to work on it which was about 11:15pm & reported the toilet doesn’t work well & takes forever to fill in order to flush which we could not get to flush. Again I asked for another room & they insisted their were no other rooms available.

I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately our room window was right above the courtyard where hotel staff likes to hang out at all hours. Got woken up at 4:30am by loud conversations. After 15 minutes and by then fully awake I called the front desk and was told "Oh, it was us. Sorry! We are not there anymore."

I arrived after a long train ride, to find out that the hotel had no operating swimming pool and hot tub. I could not check in and was told by staff that i could find another hotel and they would help me get a refund from Expedia. When I booked a new hotel, the price was terrible, but I promised my family swimming. The front desk told me they could not actually help me get a refund. They told me I actually had to try myself. I chose this place because our family had stayed many times in the past and loved it. For this stay we were not given what we purchased. We paid for an experience, we paid for a pool. They did not have either. The room cost included the use of the pool. It was a breach of contract..
