very run down. Stove did not work so could not use the kitchen, kitchen sink was always backing up and smelled.,Lights in bathroom would not come on and when they came on had to leave on 24 hours so we could have lights. . Shower you either got burned or cold shower,room smelled musky,stained carpets. Website lets you pick out your room but when you get there they give you what room they want to assign you to. The room looked nothing like what I picked out on line. Went back and looked at the pictures on rooms on line . They all looked great. Are room was not even close to any pioctures on line. For the amount of money I had to pay Ill spend my money else where next time.

Bed smaller than a queen and uncomfortable. Dirty. Old. Sliding doors on bedroom didn’t close properly and were noisy. No privacy for a seperate bedroom. No dishwasher. Hard beach access. Bathroom in awful condition and no counter. One roll of toilet paper for 4 ppl and front desk doesn’t open till 10 to get more. Couldn’t wait to leave and checked into a better hotel in the area.

we were in a room for pets. It has really nice windows facing the ocean however the briar bushes were so high we did not really have a view.. Also, while unplugging a lamp the light socket flamed and all the lights went out told would come to us first thing in the morning. Finally called at 10:30 to get it fixed we will not stay again.

Our room was very spacious for the price. This property was built in 1944 and with the exception of a few updates, the rooms seem as they are essentially the same as when they were built. The front staff was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean. Overall the room was very quiet. Ther is no air conditioning for our room but a fan was provided.

It smelled so bad we left after they couldn't accomadate us in another room. To date there has not been a refund on the room. Also, the photos of the room are not even close to the same as what they are offering. When I brought that up they said that didn't matter. Well, what else is there when you are trying to find a place to stay? You look at the room photos...

We stayed in a 2nd floor deluxe 2-bedroom cottage and the view was fantastic! We sat for hours watching the whale spouts. The beds were comfortable and the living room was cozy. We had a couple of issues with the old windows and the old stove elements and the staff was super responsive and took care of things quickly and it was worth it for the charming retro experience. This is the type of beach accommodation which both of our families stayed at when we were children and it brought back wonderful memories. The unit was quiet, too - we had a family with kids next door and we barely heard them.

I love the view from our room of the ocean! Since we are older and can no longer walk on the beach, it is extremely important for us to have a room that we can sit and watch the ocean from and open the window and listen to the waves!

We went into the reservations with such as the reviews are mixed. In addition to be reasonably priced for the coast we went ahead. Staff was great polite and quick.. Although I was surprised they did not text or call us about the Tsunami warning :O. Our first view was of the kitchen area very old appliances and refer was turned off. after pouring out the water in the freezer tray we were happy to see it start cooling! we laid paper towels over the rusty freezer coils and tried to clean off the side of refer and top... ya, no. We were happy to see the rest of the rooms were much better! The view is spectacular bar few on the coast, and we were happy enough with the stay just wish the kitchen and few dated things were in better shape.

There are some minor repairs that could be made in our room. However, we had a very comfortable stay here and the view from the room was magnificent. It was nice to have a well-stocked kitchen to use. Front office staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

In spite of the fact its older property yet it was clean and taken care of .The view of the sea is wonderful. The workers are great.
