It was beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Our room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us to a view room. I was extremely impressed. Coming all the way from Tulsa Oklahoma on a last minute planned girls trip. It was worth the money for sure. Even if we wouldn’t have had a view room. It still would have been worth it. They had a hot tub w a view of the ocean. The little town was pretty cool. Ocean was beautiful

I love this place. I've been several times. The only issue I have is that if you book through Expedia you might get misinformation about early check in and late check out. There was inconsistency among the Expedia message center and the staff at the facility. I urge the Seahorse to get this sorted so that guests are not confused by misinformation. The staff was great, though, and tried to accommodate us best they could. I will say that a 4pm check in *combined with* an 11 am check out is too tight, and I'd be happier with either a noon check out or a 3pm check in as standard policy. I'll be going back but I will be more aware of this inconsistency.

After checking in we went to the room. Upon entering the room windows were open and we could not close. We had to get repair person in room to fix. Gas fireplace did work and they could not get it to work. We had space heaters to keep us warm. Bathroom was dirty - toilet and bath tube. No hot water in the morning so no shower. We had enough and checked out and did not stay the second night. For the price the place is a dump!!!

The staff were great, super friendly and were working really hard after a completely booked weekend. The room we booked was as expected for the price so keep that in mind. Very outdated, things were broken (window shades, soap holder in shower, pillows tattered, etc), bath tub and other areas really needing a deep clean. Place was good for a quick overnight family trip and was pet friendly. Walking distance to the main downtown shops too!

Great view.

Gorgeous view of ocean. The public stairs to the beach is brutal. The exterior of the windows were dirty so the view was blurry when the sun hit it at times.

Very dirty room. On arrival I had to clean decal matter off of the toilet in order to use it. The bathtub had hair in it on the walls and floor, and a white sticky slime on the shower curtain. The bed was made but not fresh, and the floors were sandy. It did not appear to have been cleaned after the last guests other than trash and laundry being removed.

The Good: Location, view, beach The Bad: Broken ice machine, dirty cigarette filled grounds, outdated and stained carpet, very dilapidated building, dirty elevator, shower floor creeks every time you move, junk furnishings, window doesn’t seal and air comes through, lack of cups, etc (we had one plastic), the previous guests soap was in shower, spray paint left in window.

Room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. However, the floor was very sandy and there was a literal pile of sand against the wall in the bathroom. I never went to the beach once, was there on a work trip. Shower was terrible. Someone else’s hair was left on the shower wall and there was a massive leak in the hot water handle valve. The shower head badly needed a replacement because only the small settings worked and I could barely get a good warm shower.

Initially we had asked for a refund because I injured my ankle and was unable to walk easily. The hotel denied our request so rather than loose the money, we went. I was able to use crutches but mobility was rough. That being said, the bed was very comfortable although the sheet corner slipped off numerous times during the night. The property is older but in decent condition. We had an ocean view room and were right on the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. Getting down to the beach on crutches was impossible! My wife and I would not stay here again. The room is way overpriced.

I enjoyed my two nights here. The bed was super comfortable. The view was spectacular. I loved the pool and the hot tub. I met the new owners, Kevin and Amber. They are extremely nice, and customer oriented. The place is old and needs lots of work, but they are upgrading as fast as they can. The price is reasonable and the welcome is warm.

No vending machines or even breakfast on site. Mold on the bathroom walls and one of the women at the front counter was beyond rude. Very disappointed. We’ve come here before, but won’t be back.
