We stayed at Otter Rock for two nights last weekend. The location was great, very conveniently located to see various cities along the Oregon Coast. Unfortunately, the walls of our room were so thin that we could clearly hear the conversations, a person snoring, the people walking at all hours, children running next door and above us. At $250 per night, we at least expected to be able to sleep! We were given a survey to evaluate our stay when we checked in. We filled it out with our concerns, name, phone number, and email address but no one has yet contacted us. Very disappointing!

Beautiful area! Well kept little paradise on the coast with incredible amenities. For example there were book, movie, and game rentals! Also golf cart shuttles and friendly staff. We had a great experience :)

It is a beautiful property with beautiful views and grounds. There is a convenient trail to the Devil's punchbowl park and beach. The negative is the room is dated but comfortable. They were missing a few things like forks, mugs and plates which would have helped. Mostly the property is VERY hilly and going to the beach and back requires a force of will.

The website indicates there is a restaurant, but there are no restaurant or cooking facilities; there is just a microwave, but no eating utensils. We were forced to park at the hotel lobby and ride a shuttle to the room. So we were not motivated to drive back into town for dinner. The hotel had some limited microwavable meals but no eating utensils. There were no instructions in the room on how to work the TV. The front desk people were rude and unhelpful. The view is beautiful, but the management needs to improve the staff situation.

We had an enjoyable stay. The property is magnificent and the room was renovated, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the pool facilities were amazing. Great location close to Devil's Punchbowl and Newport.
