Fantastic staff, from front desk to housekeeping to bar and restaurant service staff!! Owners really need to invest some of their profits into the maintenance of the entire facility. Could be a great coastal resort if they did that.

Everything was great, we stay here often and it’s always good. We visited the lounge 3 times. Fri night and both Sat and Sun mornings for coffee and to watch king tides. All three times we had a server that just didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. 3 different servers. I don’t always expect outstanding service and I didn’t even need it this time. But they just seemed like they didn’t wanna be there and it showed. Other than that. Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful.

Phone in room didn’t work, cable didn’t work, queen size beds advertised are full size beds, garbage and dirty laundry in halls, holes painted over in room, lights in room didn’t work, exposed electrical wires, shower had exposed hardware, shower curtain rod loose and falling off. Rude staff, didn’t even ask me for ID when I came to front desk to check in, slapped cards on the counter and gave directions to the first room. Just abysmal.

The staff and amenities are always great. This is my 6 year old son’s favorite place to stay on the coast and I can’t argue with him. He especially loves the pool and hot tub. The ocean view rooms are always worth it and the food is great!

The pictures on the website are a little deceiving making it look more updated, but the price was cheap(er). Room had a deck that walked out to the cliff/ocean area (so beautiful) and sheets were clean. Wouldn’t shower there or use the bath mat that was provided, it was covered in black mold. There was an electric fireplace IN FRONT of the fireplace insert lol, it was a weird “fix”. The chairs at the table were super stained, put a towel down before sitting on them. You can hear EVERYTHING, anyone walking upstairs or in the hall or closing doors sounded like they were in our room lol wouldn’t work for light sleepers. The pool area was ok, needs repairs for sure. The lounge served good food and GOOD drinks but there was a taped off bar area and weird/closed down feeling. They don’t offer room service, so that was odd with a full restaurant/lounge in building, but it was a short walk to dine-in. For a place that is dog friendly, the staff did not like having a dog in any area we went, but she’s a service dog so they did accommodate that. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it took 2 hours with very few people dining in. Poor waitress was very forgetful and didn’t even take our drink order for the fist 30 min she comped our drink so good enough I guess. The check-in and check-out staff were great and accommodated us with our dog that I had originally called ahead about but the 3rd party site didn’t save that info. The place has a lot of potential, just needs some TLC.
