The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it.. but they dont have a working contact number like a phone which is a must they dont have a phone so if you are trying to reach them before you arrive no one will ever answer the phone and the same after you leave .. the staff are not helpful at all beside that they dont speak english so communication is very little.. for room service you have to call them every hour to remind them for what you asked for and it will come after some time as they have few staff

On May 8, 2025, I made a reservation to stay one night in your hotel via Expedia. I requested a room with ocean view and a balcony. Mightily costly if I may add. Unfortunately, the room with the ocean view was more like a room with a view to a roof. The room was on the fourth floor and the ocean view was totally obstructed by the roof in front of us. The only way to see a bit the ocean was by standing in the left corner of the balcony. If we sat down all we could see was the roof. The balcony was shared and with no privacy. Wish I had been advised of this when I made the reservation. I wonder how is it that your hotel has over 1000 reviews while another hotel very close to you only has 200.? The condition of the furniture in the room was not the best, with visible damage to the furniture due to humidity. In conclusion, the valet parking offered by your hotel was imaginary. I ended up hustling looking for parking. Finally and to be fair, the piña coladas were great.

Room was just as described and as the pictures shown. The staff is very polite and friendly. The location is perfect and has many entertainment options around including at the restaurant at the front of the hotel. I really recommend this place for a good time in Miami Beach.

This hotel is WONDERFUL

Oscar at the front desk was incredible. He was personable, accommodating and very helpful with check in and making sure we were well taken care of. It is my second time at this hotel and I will continue coming here when I visit Miami.

Hotel Ocean is in a great location. Directly across the street from the beach, it’s perfect. They offer beach chairs and towels, which is helpful and courteous. They provide daily bottled water as well. The room is spacious with a decent sized shower and bathtub. We had some issues with the AC snd they provided us with a portable AC, which was helpful. The hotel could use some slight updates here and there, but it’s kept clean and comfortable. The restaurant was decent, but a little pricey. You can get a discount as a hotel guest. All and All we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ocean.

I realized I way overpaid for my stay. It came out to around $300 per night. I was expecting a luxury hotel accommodations for that money, but it was less than your average 3 star hotel. The good: room was clean and no smell. The reception was friendly and polite. Walking distance to dining, shopping, beach, pharmacy. Night entertainment. The disappointing: room was almost bare, the tiny work table didn't even had a lamp, and barely any room for laptop. No coffee maker, nothing to boil hot water with. One of the two faucets didn't eork so well. The worst for me was the heavy too warm blanket that make me wake up numerous times at night covered in sweat, no matter how low the AC. I figured to raise the AC to 72 and sleep uncorered. During my 1 week stay in Miami, i stayed in 3 hotels due to family reunion, and none if the other cheaper hotels were so disappointing. I would've complain if the hotel wasn't so expensive. Also, they need to offer better coffee/hot water options. The area is very busy and crowded, can be lots of fun if thats what you're looking for. I prefer a less congested and more private location.

The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful, our room was modern and comfortable. The restaurant was pricey but the food is excellent. We love the beach is right accross the street!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely and we were so glad we'd booked the balcony with the ocean view as it was spectacular. They do have a late 4pm check in, which is later than most, but they stored our luggage. The location is really good, and it was quiet in our room despite being in a lively area. We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very nice, with a great vibe. We did have an issue with the prices though so beware. We were given a discount for being hotel guests, and paid a discounted price, but when it settled on our card every time the price reverted to the higher one, so very unhappy about that. Maybe use cash for dining.
