It smelled so bad like sewer we didn’t even stay at the hotel absolutely nasty and I won’t be booking my next trip using this app in the slightest!!!! So disappointed and me and my gf got married so what a great hotel to remember

This specific property has 4 separate buildings that are significantly apart in distance. Their main office (building 1) was 8 blocks away from building 3 (where we stayed). They did not offer any type of transportation or shuttle to these other buildings, therefore we were forced to walk with our luggage to get there. There is not a pool at each building, therefore unless your room is at the property with the pool, it was another healthy walk to get there. Nearest shopping was nearly a mile away, so again, a healthy walk or $20 uber/lyft ride to get there.

1. the resort fee 105$ was NOT mentioned when I booked. 2. the location is FAR away from the check in hotel and very far from the South beach, Uber costed 90$ per day to get there and back 3. the building is old, cold, uncomfortable, with freezing floors and a cold glass kitchen table 4. the fridge was leaking 5. they put the queen and king beds into a relatively small room so the door was not opening fully! there was no way for the person whose bed was at the entrance to approach it. 6. I hurt my legs multiple times with the ledge of the bed- the corners are prominent and hard! 7. the bathtub was in poor condition, painted carelessly to cover the uneven surface and tile. 8. the microwave handle was cracked, about to fall apart 9. the TV was not working in the hall; the TV in the bedroom was hard to navigate (especially for my father, an elderly man). they was no instructions on how to use the 2 remotes. 10. the “resort” fee was supposed to be for the use of swimming pool BUT it was far from our hotel! different address! And the promised “free drinks” 5-6pm were VERY far, an uber to this hotel cost 40$. 11. The check-in staff was rude to other customers 12.the picture on the Expedia was NOTHING like reality 13. there were old blood stains on our blankets! disgusting 14. no cutting knife in the kitchen 15. strong smell of nicotine/smoke everywhere My impression: disrespect to clients: they use shabby old smoked buildings without renovation and basic broken amenities.

Staff was awesome! Extremely helpful and courteous even when faced with difficult guests that were obviously not going to be pleased with anything! Love that the historic “mom and pop” type motels of yesteryear are being saved and renovated into lovely studio apartments! Admittedly, I was a bit worried about the spread between buildings, but the staff helped explain the trolly and bus system. Beach/restaurants/local groceries were easily walkable…even with medical and slight mobility issues. Would recommend. Only downside was the lack of luggage storage. My fault that I didn’t read that in the listing, but difficult when coming off a ship in the morning and check in is not until late afternoon. Again, staff was awesome in arranging our rooms to be moved up in the cleaning schedule. :)

I like having a kitchenette to cook, but the stovetop in our room took a really long time to heat up. The hotel is minutes from the beach—and the beach parking lot is great if you have a car—just don’t forget to pay. The neighborhood seems pretty safe and walkable but the trolley stops right outside the hotel too. Overall we always enjoy our stay in north beach!

And once I addressed the dirty room they did the correct thing by asking if I wanted to move to a different room but I didn't feel safe. So I went to a whole different hotel and didn't stay there at all.

The room did not look exactly like the pictures, and there was a strange smell when we arrived. We had to buy home spray to make it smell better. The listing mentioned a pool, but it was not located in the same apartment complex. It was about two blocks away. Parking was also not included, and we had to pay daily to avoid getting towed. There was no hand soap or dish soap provided, so we had to purchase those as well. Customer service was okay, and the beach was only a few minutes away, which was great. Overall, we still had a good stay. It wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t too bad either.

There was no utensils. There was only two towels, no face cloths. The room was dirty moldy. They didn't give me the access code to get into the area where my room was had to wait until someone came from inside to open it because the people at the office were gone for the night. No coffee for the coffee maker no glasses no coffee cups. Totally disgusted. We stayed one night and the other two nights that I was supposed to stay I want reimburse to me. They told me to contact you on that matter so that's what me and my wife did here it is please get back to me at your Earliest convenience to resolve this matter. Thank you, Frank Cassanelli.

First of all, when you book the property the address in expedia is not where you are going to stay exactly, they have 4 diff properties and you have to walk couple of blocks from the check in area which the hotel has informed us a day before our stay that we might stay in other properties not the one they advertised online. When we tried to contact the reception they will not answer your call, we have a flight delay so we have tried calling the property multiple times, have left numerous voicemails and nobody answered or returned our call. The unit we stayed at is not so clean, the flooring is dusty, sandy and the toilet is a bit dirty that we have to wipe it clean. The location is good though and the beach is walking distance and restaurants, supermarket is very accessible.

Terrible. The bathtub was dirty and greasy. I didn’t even want to step foot in it. The floors sunk in about 6” in some spots. I slept on a chair because the bed also looked dingy and dirty.

This hotel is not a good deal. You get what you pay for, and then you pay a surprise resort fee on top of that. The extra resort fee is not disclosed anywhere prior to booking, and is nonrefundable in addition to the $100 refundable deposit. They charge $30/night for 'resort fees', but there are no amenities offered to justify this. Not even courtesy transport from where you check-in at the Seaside, to where the room was located at the Beachside, 0.5 miles away. Not a far trip, but not convenient when you have luggage to carry between the properties. In addition to the lack of amenities, the wifi in our room wasn't even working during our stay. Our room at Beachside All Suites looked decrepit and the photos on the website did not at all match the state the room was in. The wood was rotted out from the door frames and baseboards and looked like it was just painted over. There was water damage to the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom hooks were rusting away. The unit was equipped with a full kitchen.. but lacked basic kitchen necessities, such as glassware or anything to cook/heat food in the oven or on the stove. The living room furniture all looked rough, with leather cracked and peeling away from the couch. The whole place felt more like a rundown apartment than a resort hotel. The cleaning staff does a good job as the room did feel clean, but the room needs major refurbishing and the resort fees should be dropped or made transparent before booking.

Overall a great place to stay , lots of room, practically an apartment that you stay in, clean, felt very homey, they have silverware too if you bring takeout back, lots of soaps available. The only thing I disliked is that we had to check in at a different building and drive to the actual place we were staying, it was maybe only 4-5 blocks away.
