"A good family Hotel"
We have been to this hotel off and on for the past 8 years or so. It has become primarily a family hotel. That means kids, lots of kids. If you have kids it is a great place to go. If you do not have kids and want some quiet time it may not be the best choice. It has a total of three pools. One of them is a larger type pool. The others are more along a river theme which are not as good for swimming, if that is your things. There is one small pool section that is recommended for quiet activities and that is nice ans adults tend to hang out there. My biggest complaint is the facilities fee. It is up to $33 per day per room, including taxes. The facilities should be including in the room rent.

"Always Amazing @ Ritz-Carlton Kapalua"
We just got returned from our visit to Maui staying at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. From the minute we arrived until the time that we left the team took the time to ensure that our experience was first class. They remembered and recognized the special occasion that we were celebrating and constantly went above and beyond in taking care of us. Each time we have left, we are already beginning the process of planning our next visit there. Thank you to the Staff and Team for making this a relaxing and enjoyable visit!

"Amazing Andaz"
Spectacular hotel--unbelievable views, amazing pools with endless views of the ocean. each pool has a differing temperature. 3 restaurants on site--did not eat a Morimoto's as it just didn't sound amazing especially with all of the near by options. the pool bar and lunch==both bumbye and the other have great drinks and lunch options. grounds are pristine. easy to enjoy the lawn with cool ocean breezes or the pools. the on site beach is sandy and beautiful as well. numerous activities included in the resort fees which is a much better/cheaper option than most surrounding areas. also--the hotel is completed renovated. It is not run down like many of the near by hotels of even greater cost. Kid's pool is well separated by a "level" which allows for the upper 3 other pools to remain an adult oasis.

"Really enjoyed it, again"
This is our second stay at Napili Kai and we really enjoyed it, again. The rooms are not the cookie cutter type of hotel room where you don't know if you are in Hawaii or Iowa or New York. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Beautiful view of the beach from the nicely sized lanai. Staff at check-in and check-out was prompt, efficient and helpful. The use of a hospitality room to shower and change, after check-out, before our 10:00 p.m. return flight to the mainland, was VERY welcome. Allowed us to make a full day out of our last day there. Nicely located with good restaurants nearby and onsite. Your can spend a lot more money for a lot less in the Kapalua area. Only niggle is the parking slots are pretty tight for a full-sized vehicle and parking is definitely at a premium, but we always managed to find a place to park. But no complaints whatsoever. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay during the height of the Maui winter season. We would do it again.

"Wonderful stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani"
The Fairmont Kea Lani exceeded our expectations from greeting us with a lei to the cloth hand towels in the public bathrooms. Everything was top notch. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. All the rooms are beautiful two room suites and ours had a private Lani with an ocean view. I can't say enough about how beautiful this property is.

"Very comfortable and peaceful "
We stayed in an ocean bungalow for 4 nights. The price was pretty steep but I feel that I got my money's worth. There are no beaches on property but there are some accessible from the Hana Highway. Our favorite things were the daily activities, many of them free, provided by the resort. The on sight restaurants were pricey, but there were numerous interesting food trucks in the Hana area. The staff, which are mostly locals, are friendly and helpful. Hana is a very interesting area to visit. I put this trip and hotel under category of bucket list things to do.

"misleading"
We booked this resort through travelocity as a package. I have to say I was very disappointed with our actual unit. Travelocity only shows the updated, nice, newer units which appear to be very nice. Our unit was super dated with an very uncomfortable couch. Also, I was unaware that we were in a unit that did not have house keeping or towel exchange services. The last thing I want to do on my vacation is LAUNDRY. When I made this reservation, I called to reserve an infant crib. I was given a SERIOUSLY out of date metal fold up crib that looked kind of illegal. We used it for one night as her leg was stuck between the bars when we woke up. The oceanfront view was stunning and there is nothing like falling asleep to the found of crashing waves, so I cannot complain too much. The pool areas were very nice and super clean and the grounds were kept very nicely.

"Beautiful View"
Our room had a beautiful view and amazing beach to swim/play in. Condo was very clean and the best stocked of any I've ever stayed in. Just know this is not a hotel but a managed time share resort. There are no staff available between 8am and 9pm. Late check ins have to call a number and unlock a box to key code to room. The power went off one night at 3am. There was an emergency number to call about power outages. No one answered that number. We got power back 12 hours later but no a/c. We called the front desk when we returned to the room and were told someone was on the way. We called back at 9pm that night and no one answered at the front desk or any emergency numbers. Went another night without air. At check out we were told that something was wrong with that buildings a/c unit. We were never asked if we wanted to move buildings or no communication at all from any staff. Overall beautiful place but no housekeeping or helpful staff.
