Very clean and big room (we had the Deluxe Double room), Free bottled water every day was a nice touch. Shower had good water pressure. Had some concerns about being above the pub, but even when it was open until 11, the noise stopped pretty much immediately every night. Great location for food and transportation (also late night food!). Spent 4 nights here and would definitely return again. Note: as they disclose, there is no lift. Also the bath tubs are quite high and could pose difficulties for some.

This is a lovely place in a convenient part of town. The room was immaculate and the pub served great food and drinks (with a nice discount for those who stay there). The pub staff were super friendly and helpful and a shout-out to Tina for a smooth check in and awesome hospitality. This is a gem of a place!

Excellent stay. Could not fault this. Staff were excellent particularly when we left our keys in the room one night l. The room we had , no 4, was lovely. I stayed with my 18 year old daughter for 4 nights at the Clerk and Well. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly! Jude gave us a great list of places to visit and everyone working in the pub was always helpful and kind. The housekeeper went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the fan and ac worked like a charm for a comfortable sleep. Lastly, we had a large bathroom with a shower and tub. We would definitely come back again.
