The room condition was very poor with broken tiles and flooring. However, the towels and the bedding were clean. The location was really convenient. I think the price reflects the level of the room and the stay. Overall, the hotel was quiet and you can sleep well.

Lucky to book a room for 2 at the last minute with a great discount offer. Great location near the underground, with Tesco Express and M&S Food close by. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Only minor issue is the soundproofing – could hear noise from next door when my TV was off, but luckily my neighbours weren’t late sleepers. Overall, it’s a good place for a short stay within this budget. I might consider staying again if a similar offer comes up.

Well-located hotel. It's a bit old, and they don't offer a secure place to store lugagge (you may leave it at the front desk, but at your own risk.) It's got no lift and it could be more eco-friendly. Yet, I'd still recommend it because of its location.

Tiny but it works!

Nice, clean, and inexpensive - just my kind of accommodations. I was one of the lucky few whose flight was cancelled at Heathrow towards the end of March due to a fire. I jumped online to hotels.com and booked this quickly because all the hotels around Heathrow were full or now gouging people for rooms. Not this place. I booked the tiniest room I've ever stayed in. The single room I booked is not recommended for longer stays. There was barely room enough to stand next to the bed. My walk-in closet is bigger than this room. But you know what? It was clean, quiet, and for one night, considering the circumstances, it worked. I can't speak for the bigger rooms. Good job, Notting Hill Gate!

This is an outstanding option for a budget stay in Kensington. Yes, the rooms are very small, but perfectly habitable with nice bed, bathroom and very friendly staff. And it's so, so cheap. Basically if your focus is on being in central London and you don't mind a hotel that's not too fancy, you can't do much better than this!

The Cleanness at the -1 level next to the kitchen is not as per health and safety. I will not suggest anyone to get the room number 1-4 due the unwanted items lying around.
