It’s okay. It’s a busy hotel. I think they’re doing renovations. I was upset because they upgraded my room (2 beds) to a King bed room—thanks, but you didn’t even ask me!!! We didn’t want one bed!!! It was rough. Whatever. The place smells weird but the location is okay, next to the tube station. Helpful staff. (Even tho they didn’t even ask before they ‘upgraded’ us…)

Stuff problems

We paid for parking for the hotel and it was included out room price but after when checked out the hotel charged us extra fees because their stuff forgot to sorted out our parking and they werent helpful to sorted out our parking and their stuff talked to us very arrogant as well and they told us to leave and they don’t care we have to pay twice the parking with them. I do not recommend to stay there because the stuff not helpful at all.

Our one night stay was very comfortable. Hotel is in a nice neighborhood, the Russell Square underground station is a 2 minute walk away. The English breakfast was excellent, the only negative thing about the room was the bathroom faucets handle was binding and hard to use and needs replacing.

The property was incredibly close to the Piccadilly line which was perfect access to every tourist destination and direct to Heathrow airport.

I could not totally enjoy my stay as my room was stuffy and warm. Airtight! Close! No window to open and I felt an extreme lack of AIR! Had to ask for a fan which did not help the situation! No exhaust fan in bathroom either. The room is airtight! Uncomfortable! Renovations going on! I must say the STAFF is excellent! Ida my favourite in breakfast area. Superb! Wonderful staff! All staff excellent!

Great location, but very unfortunate experience with facility. The tub didn't drain for two nights. After a long day out and about, it was not pleasant to have to have someone up to our room to unclog the drain quite noisily. On the third day, someone came by our room early to work on the drainage issue. After that, it drained very, very slowly. The next day, we were informed upon arrival that the hot water was out. Finally, it required a lot of upper arm strength to turn off the water--but we persevered because it was too much to call with another issue. I hope renovations fix these issues.

Not a good experience.

Had to move from our exec room on the first night due to water leak from room above. Moved into 2 std rooms on 5th floor. Had to again argue that 4 people booked meant 4 breakfasts. I'm not going to let my kids starve. Had this on both mornings. No notice about the building work so lifts out of order and dust everywhere. Staff were courteous on the main.
