Overall hotel was very clean, staff are amazing make you feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely didn’t wait long at all. Would highly recommend this hotel for a nice chilled and relaxing stay.

Great location, just a short walk into town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. Only downside was a loose toilet seat and extremely small pillows. Nevertheless we would use this hotel again.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Stunning lake view from the room. Really good breakfast. Just a few little details missing, i.e. removing glasses from tables, especially outside and a bit more attention the cleaning up the garden area further down.

The renovations are intense but the thing that tipped over edge was lack of parking and no pre warning of this. Ended up nearly getting wiped on busy road whilst trying to establish with hotel where to go (there is a paid for car park further down road, which they will refund). We were there to celebrate our honeymoon and my husbands birthday and I was in less than a celebratory mood by end of short break. Have stayed at other hotels in area which are far less stressful and chaotic"
