This cottage built in the 1950's has recently been completely renovated from stem to stern to bring it up to date with the most current design standards. It is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom space with a large front yard and beautiful backyard for grilling.

Explore the best of Lenox and the Berkshires activities and fare! Sitting in this cottage surrounded by forest, you really feel like you are in the shire!
The space
Features include a beautiful dining room surrounded by windows and backyard patio access to enjoy the lush forests adjacent to the space. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and appreciate the beautiful greenery in the spring, summer and stunning fall colors as the leaves change.

The home is centrally located close-to-town, near Ventfort Hall, which actually borders our backyard!

Everything in Lenox is walking distance to the home 5-10 mins depending on which side of town. You can fancy one of many great restaurants in town, walk to Shakespeare and Company for a day of festivals and shows, or head to Tanglewood (right down the street) for a picnic on the great lawns accompanied by Symphony Number 9.

The home is also close to The Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, Jacobs Pillow, Bish Bash Falls, Williamstown. And just 10 minutes away from Butternut, Catamount or Bosquet, and a half hour from Jiminy Peak - all great skiing resorts in the wintertime!

Perfect in every way for older couple

The house is pleasant, clean, well- equipped in every way and in a perfect location for even senior citizens to walk to the shops and bakeries of Lenox easily. It is excellent for we who had several events to enjoy at Tanglewood and the house has a supply books, brochures and posters for those of us who want to learn more about the area. We done "self-catering" all over this country and Britain and this house is one of the very best! G&S Connecticut

Exceptionally Clean, Superb location

Check in was straight forward and seamless. Owner communication was friendly and quick. I cannot rave enough about the cleanliness! It's rare to find a vacation rental this clean. Rooms and spaces are well equipped and comfortable. It's nestled into the woods just enough that you aren't bothered by traffic on the nearby road but it's proximity to Lenox is great, easily walkable but out of the busiest part of town. The QR code for the WiFi is cleverly on coasters in the living area, they just happened to be tucked away when we first arrived so it took a minute to figure that out. The TV has streaming services from the owner's accounts. We travel with a Roku stick and the TV mount made it impossible to plug in, but you can find or install most anything va the logged in accounts (we didn't watch much TV, there's plenty other entertainment!) We really enjoyed eating outdoors and in the sunroom. We had evening events most nights so didn't use the firepit or grill but noted they are in really good condition. Window A/C was plenty, the house is shaded most of the time. We come from a dry state and frankly used A/C more for the humidity than the heat (we had a few really warm days when it was truly necessary).
