"Nice Mountain Resort"
This hotel has its own mini golf course, a pool, a pool table, and a nice restaurant on site. You don't have to go far to find something to do, yet it's close to Mammoth Ski Resort if that's what you are in the area to do. The staff was great at helping me resolve a reservation problem. I would definitely stay there again.

Tamarack Lodge Resort

163 Twin Lakes Rd, Mammoth Lakes - Map
"Cozy with a lake view"
The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The lodge has a cozy feel to it with a large fireplace in the lobby. I had a lodge room with a shared bathroom. The lodge rooms are a little outdated and small but clean. The bathroom was clean and close by. The location of the lodge is beautiful just across from Twin Lakes. The lodge also has a restaurant with good food so no need to drive back down into town. Will definitely stay there again.

"Resort near Mammoth (but without all the fanfare)"
We rented a cabin for 4 nights and a hotel room for 1 night. The cabin was okay but small for a family of 4 (all adults) There was no working internet inside the cabin (so we used up nearly all of our allotted data on our verizon plan) and the TV did not work either. Housekeeping missed our cabin one day so no clean towels or made-up beds - we found that out when we returned 30-mins before the front desk closed at 9pm and received clean towels at least. The beds are too soft (possibly overused?). The fireplace was good (firewood was provided) and kitchen/bathroom were small but decent. By contrast, the hotel looked newer, room was very spacious, and bathroom was very nice (separate tub and shower). Any future visits will likely on the hotel side.

Juniper Springs Resort - Mammoth Lakes Hotels
Rating: 3.5 Stars

Juniper Springs Resort

"Hotel condition...."
Overall speaking, with the rates we got, I have no complain to the hotel. However, the dining chairs in my room are quite old and couple of them are almost falling apart (my daughter was almost falling on the floor). The sofa is very old and dirty as well as not very comfortable (extremely soft cushions causing back pain). I think this hotel needs some upgrades to keep customers returning to them. Finally, the room is extremely hot and there is no way to shutdown the heater (needs to keep drinking water instead).

Located slope side 45 minutes from the Eastern Entrance of Yosemite National Park lies Juniper Springs Resort. Juniper Springs connects the town bike path to the Juniper Mountain bike trail.

"Access from your hotel to ski lift,"
Very warm room. Great location, stores near by, gondola ride to ski resort. If you like to walk in snow or just enjoy the out doors there's a mexican restaurant with in a mile. Very nice staff.
A Traveller
The Village Lodge places guests in the center of Mammoth Lakes, just a 15-minute ride on the free hotel shuttle from Mammoth Yosemite Airport. A 5-minute stroll takes visitors to the town’s restaurants and shops, and access to the ski slopes and trails is as simple as hopping on a gondola.More
