We stay here several times a year. Disappointed this last stay. The room, the grounds, the hot tub: All excellent as usual but the staff was not The desk clerk at check in was visibly bothered when we asked for the upper garage to be opened AT 7:20PM!! He rolled his eyes, sighed heavy and said he would have maintenance manually open it. We have a high parking clearance vehicle and he told us to just “park across the street, the upper garage is already closed.” We informed him we paid for the services on the property. He was unprofessional. This will cause us to research other lodging options for our multiple seasional trips every year.

The room was in need of some updates, for sure. The TVs are old and do not stream and Juniper was kind enough to bring a cable box to the room. One TV (living room) needs three remotes to work. The carpeting was old and the floor actually felt like it moved and squeaked. The bed was way too soft and the pillows were lumpy. The fridge was too cold and the electric stove-top had a grill that was not working. Needless to say, I did not get good sleep at all. The staff tried to help me find another room but no go. I love the resort and will come back again. But this room really needed some TLC.

The 2-King room/condo is big, well equipped, two nice bathrooms, pretty much all you need. But the best part was the stunning view!! (see the pic). We stayed at the Sandstone building and weather was cold. To much of our surprise, they have covered parking! I loved that! Front desk was always super courteous, helpful and friendly. Keep it up, Manny! The few cons: one of the windows didn't close completely so we had to hold it tight with a cutting board. And the blinds are heavy and get stuck easily. They need to be upgraded. I would definitely stay here again. What sold me was the view, the customer service and the size of the room.
