Great stay! First time in Mammoth and wasn’t sure where to stay, but this place worked out great. Good value and enjoyed the breakfast.

In the room: the walls were dirty and the ceiling had a weird spot on it. The tv kept wigging out, but im just assuming that was bc of the area and the reception. It was inconvenient to have only stairs as an option to get to my room. Im glad im able to do stairs bo problem but if i had my elderly grand mother with me, that wouldve sucked. Also, the breakfast was downstairs and super weird. Felt a little bit creepy, it felt like a basement. Some of the staff was nice but there were a couple that looked annoyed to be there. Other than that, yes i would stay again, bc its was a decent price and didnt have to pay a ton to be in mammoth.

Mammoth

The people were very friendly, and the hotel is tucked away kind of in a neighborhood. The rooms are a little small. But they were very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much !!

Everyone was very friendly to me and my family during our stay. I had no problems and would stay here again in the future. There was one thing that did take us aback though. The lady that cooked breakfast did confront a teenaged kid about the food that he was taking. He told her that "it was his moms birthday and he was taking her breakfast in bed". The worker then told him he was not allowed to get food for himself and that he had to leave. Obviously, there could be something else going on that I was unaware of, but from the outside looking in this seemed quite unnecessary.

No working jacuzzi

I specifically chose this hotel for location which was great and for the price it was very clean the biggest disappointment was the jacuzzi not working this was the second reason I chose this hotel was to enjoy a soak after a long day of skiing and the jacuzzi does not work and has not for over a year according to the manager this is false advertising and should be removed.

You get what you pay for.

I’ve stayed here before and I knew what I was paying for. A few things stood out this time that made it a little underwhelming. There were random tissues left in the room. As if someone had blew their nose and just left them on a counter that housekeeping missed. Then there was an empty can of an alcoholic beverage that was on the floor behind the bed. Again, it’s the best western, so I wasn’t expecting magic, but at least a clean room upon arrival would’ve been nice. The last complaint was that the jacuzzi wasn’t even filled with water. After a long day of boarding I really do enjoy a nice soak in the jacuzzi. We weren’t notified before or upon arrival that the jacuzzi wasn’t operating. Would have been nice to know beforehand, as that would have altered where I stayed.
