Never happened. When we got there, they did not have a room for us because the lights in the room did not work. The property looked very shabby. The person working the desk was outside with his friends.Obviously not knowing enough to remove unavailable rooms from listings.

The staff was very kind and helpful, especially the person who spoke Turkish – their assistance was greatly appreciated. However, the room was not clean at all. There was a strong, unpleasant odor that did not go away even after using spray and incense. The bed sheets were stained with blood, and we even found bloody tissues under the bed and behind the nightstand. This made the stay very uncomfortable.

Red Roof Met Low Expectations

To he light above vanity was inoperable. Floor was filthy dirty. Only one bath towel for two guests. The front desk unmanned for 30 minutes before midnight. One resident came down complaining about roach problems. Otherwise a friendly clerk and priced at $100 for Metro NYC

I booked a non smoking room, but I was placed in a smoking room. The toilet was used and not flushed. I tried to switch rooms, and they said no rooms were available so I had to check out and leave. They told me I have to contact the third party for a refund.
