Amazing Experience and Property

An amazing experience and property! The entire experience was terrific. The host was wonderful, communicated timely and allowed us to adjust a day. The property was very clean and large, and the hot tub was clean and ready when we arrived. I cannot say enough about this booking. We will stay here again.

The place was nice and clean but when we first arrived there was a strange odor. We needed to air out the place for a few hours for the air to feel fresh. The hot tub looked clean at first but we noticed some dirt or dust that started to pool up with time. Everything else was good and we had a wonderful time.

Perfect Stay!

Everything was perfect with our stay! The house is an awesome location -easy walk to the beach. The Beach House was incredibly clean, well furnished, and so nice! We had an amazing weekend- I appreciate the communication before we arrived with recommendations for where to eat. Walked into the house and was blown away by the attention to detail made it felt like we were at the beach! The house had very nice beach towels and chairs and the upstairs living room was super comfy. Checkout was a breeze. We are staying here when we come back in 2025. Thanks again for an awesome long weekend!!

Great place to stay!

This house is located exactly where we wanted to be. Easy access to the beach, great restaurants, breweries, and shops nearby. My husband plays tennis every morning just up the road. The house was very clean and well equipped. It has a REALLY great hot tub and we loved sitting out on the decks for morning coffee and lunch. FUN place!!!!

Will rent again!!

Ideal location on a corner lot. Hot tub was in great shape, outdoor shower was convenient for rinsing off before taking a dip. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked, with personal touches everywhere to make you feel welcome. Other than the being on a main strip which can get busy at times, the beach access proximity is very convenient!

The house was as advertised. Short walk to the beach and the beach had a lifeguard. Also right next to the Kill Devil Grill. Very safe and friendly neighborhood.

Clean, cute, and spacious

The cottage was gorgeous and very accurate to the online listing. There was plenty of space for my sister and our friends for our girls weekend and the beds were quite comfy. The place seemed very clean and neat and I love that the showers had shampoo, conditioner, and wash provided, much like a hotel. Even linens were provided with simple instructions on how to take care of them at the end of our stay. The property owner was very communicative and prompt which was excellent. We were also a simple walk from both the beach and food. Anything else was easily drivable. Overall excellent stay, really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who needs or wants 4 bedrooms, especially with the hot tub as well which was clearly very nicely maintained.

Comfortable & Nicely Decorated

Very nice. Well stocked home. Great location between 2 beach accesses and Beachcombers, Swellls A Brewing and Kill Devil Grille. Stove burners were not reliable. Also, we were disappointed that we could not watch regular ttv. Areca, our host, was fantastic.with communicating.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our vacation. It was everything advertised and more. It was definitely bigger than our family needed but we loved it for our last minute, first time OBX trip. They even had beach chairs for us to use. We also loved using the corn hole boards every evening. This house was perfect for our family!

KDH magic

Fabulous stay in Kill Devil Hills! The house gave us the quintessential OBX experience. It was a perfect location - super easy access to the beach and in the heart of everything we needed - restaurants, shopping, exploring. We had everything we needed - a fantastic view from the porches, great kitchen that was well-stocked, the beds were super-comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect. The washer and dryer was an added bonus! Everything was very clean and tidy. The decorations and furniture were perfectly beachy. Our family loved having the outdoor shower for after the beach and of course soaking in the hot tub was a daily occurrence. Our host was great and helped us with any questions we had. If you are considering this house, we'd definitely recommend! Thank you!

Great Time!

I booked for my 4 adult children and myself. We had plenty of room. We enjoyed the beach every day. The house is close to great places to eat. We walked to a couple of places close by. Some of us had our own chairs but they were provided as well! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!!

Excellent stay!

The outer banks is just a stunning area and this place was great. Well furnished and decorated, good communications with the owner, and very close to everything you need - 5 min walk to the beach. TVs in every room and Hulu / fast internet. Outdoor shower downstairs to hose off and a hot tub. Convenient parking right under your balcony. Just perfect. The only comment I'd have is that the beds could use better mattresses- but other than that everything was perfect - we will definitely consider this unit if/when we come back to KDH in the future.

Beach immersed atmosphere

We were a group of 8 and this home provided ample space and seating for hangouts and mealtime! The home decor comes together so well, we felt an immediate welcoming comfort when we got there with adorable sea creature themes. The natural lighting in the kitchen/ dining/living area, along with balcony seating was also a noted contentment throughout our party for peaceful morning coffee and breakfast. The location here was perfect for what we wanted to do: Easy walk to the beach, Jockey’s Ridge so close for kayaking, and a public sound side pier for crabbing fun!

Amazing service

Areca was amazing and helped us with any need that we may have had, which wasn’t much because they did a great job having everything that we would need! The beach was just a short trip across the street. The outdoor shower was very nice after a day at the beach and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind!

Adequate but not more

House was ok. Pictures made it seem much nicer. Appliances were a bit outdated. I was able to write my name on the headboard of my bed in the dust (wish I were kidding). Ceiling fans in the front bedrooms dropped dust all over the bed when I turned them on. Pans in the kitchen had enamel flaking off. Ii could go on but I won’t. realize it’s a beach house but I expected a bit better for my money.
