"For a budget type guesthouse we felt the accommodation was very good. The welcome received was very good and professional, the room we booked was a superior type room which was very clean and functional. A little bit of street noise overnight but no real issues I would certainly book again , if eating locally the short walk to the lanes us worthwhile ."

"Weekend stay, end of summer. I stayed on the fourth floor and did not hear any loud music during the night, which some other reviewers have found. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh bedding, and it was naturally light and airy. Hotel staff were helpful, and friendly. Wifi was free, and had good speeds and coverage. I would recommend updating the literature in the Welcome Pack, in the rooms. It claims that a 24hr parking pass is 8 GBP, when it is actually 20 GBP per 24hrs. This might be the source of some of the other negative feedback, alongside the seemingly two hotel-owned websites carrying outdated information on parking charges. One downside was water pressure; I had to perform acrobatics with the shower to raise the pressure enough to get a good water flow. I would stay here again."
