Book a hotel near Kate's Fish Camp, Gainesville

"Gotta not be so cheap with the aspirin tablet like soap bars, the cheap toilet paper too slick to grip. Other than little things like that the stay was ‘quiet’ and beds comfortable which is what you want. Oh, and the tv which had a channel list button but did not show the name of the station so trying to watch march madness games on 4 different channels took forever scrolling to find! Then had to write them down. Uncertain why all these little things even exist. Fix these. Staff was great. "

"Such a great find! Totally adorable cottages and amenities. Felt like something out of a movie. As everyone else has said, the breakfast was great and so unique. We had the hot tub to ourselves which was good because it’s definitely small but was great to have after a long drive. Pool looked like it could use some TLC but wasn’t bad. Don’t think the heater was on though either. Walkable to several spots. We tried V Pizza and the wings were incredible. Only downside would be that it’s surrounded by areas that seem a bit sketch. Still 5 stars for me though!"

"Calming getaway from the hustle and bustle, yet still a quick drive to the university, downtown and Archer Road area. Apartment is very cozy, peaceful, and we enjoyed the nature including all the birds and even saw a ton of turkeys. Greg was very hospitable and we will definitely be back when we visit Gainesville again. "
