Room had small spots of blood in couple places on wall and mirror, no microwave or mini fridge for cost of stay, eggs had parts of green tint to them , jar of peanut out for guests instead of individuals and most importantly.. daughters room door lock was broken, came back about 1am from event couldn’t get in room and management told them if they could not get a hold of the maintenance person there was nothing they could do till morning, which would have caused them not to have a place to sleep and all of their belongings locked in the room as well instead of offering them another room till morning went and ate breakfast after that situation was finally taken care of. Came back to get stuff to check out could not get in the room again because lock to door was broken.

Was a good value for the price on a sold out Dec weekend. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable. We did not try the breakfast. No wash cloths, hair dryer and toilet paper and kleenex not replaced by housekeeping but the lady seemed sweet when I passed her in the hall and I could tell she was working hard. Room had a slight urine smell but we opened the window and let it air out. It was our 2nd time here and if the price stays the same we will gladly be back again when going to Kansas City.

cozy, clean room, lovely little breakfast, great staff! vending machines were a great perk. in an inconspicuous spot, great parking setup. only things to nitpick is the floor could have been vacuumed with a bit more attention, was however still clean! and the door to the room was a bit ornery, but wasn't unable to get into the room at any point. would book again if I find myself in that area of KC again :)

The TV remote didn’t work. Called the front desk on the first night to notify and 24 hours later still no response. Not asking for the anything crazy, just a remote that works. Bare bones hotel with a bed. Don’t expect a lot especially a remote that works or someone to resolve an issue.

Check in was ok. No wash clothes in room. When I asked for wash clothes, desk lady said we don’t have them. Room was clean The bed frame stuck out from the mattress so i hit my leg on it a couple of times. Everything was average. Breakfast was simple.

This property is very bare bones. The room is your basic bed with tv and bathroom. There was no refrigerator, washcloths, etc amenities. I never saw an employee except the check in clerk the entire 4 days I was there. The area is sketchy and could give the Bates Hotel a run for its money. The positives: quiet, clean, and bed was comfy. I’m still shocked that they had no washcloths.
