Book a hotel near Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach

"The property was not as shown in the photograph; we were not in a one story street level but over the garage with steps. The host was incredible with response and providing suggestions for restaurants (that all were great!). We had an outstanding experience and hope to stay here again in the future. The microwave was broken but we didn't need it except to heat up our coffee when it cooled. Such a refreshing stay with 2 blocks to the shore and the same to the nearby Lido marina with water side restaurants. Wish we didn't have to leave!"

"Usually have a decent stay here but this past stay was horrible. Neighbor was up most of the night very loud and scary. Husband got bites from bugs and we think it was from there. Called to get moved and they said they will let us know but never did. Room doesn't get cleaned until three days being there. Sheets were stained."

From the receptionist asking if we prefer a room on a lower floor or a room on a higher floor (most places don't give you an option) and housekeeping doing a fantastic job, to having a great breakfast the next morning. Will stay here again when I'm in Newport Beach."

"I stayed here for 4 days with my husband and 15 year old son. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had in a while. Keep in mind this is not ocean front but is incredibly close walking distance to the ocean. The unit is upstairs from the main living area. Totally separate entrance. The unit itself doesn’t have a view but the patio on the canal is all yours. I drank coffee every morning out there with zero issues. In fact, we loved chatting with Nuel and asked for advice on the best places to visit in the area. We also had use of the Duffy and had a blast on it. Granted we are familiar with boats and how to operate them. It’s electric so make sure it’s charged before leaving. You are right around the corner from The Alley, a very yummy restaurant. Also right around the corner from a donut place that was quite delicious as well. We had a car rental but found it easier to walk or Uber places. The best part of the unit is the location in my opinion. The beaches nearby are less crowded than some of the other beaches. If you’re looking for a laid back, relaxing trip; this is the place for you. I also recommend taking the ferry to Balboa Island. Just walk on (it’s only 2). When you get there, rent a golf cart and cruise the island. We had an absolute blast doing this.We would definitely stay here again."
