"I had a suite which was reasonably priced and fabulous. A sitting area with the largest screen TV I've ever seen, a dining area, a patio with table and chairs, a full kitchen, plenty of closet space, a clean bathroom with all things functioning perfectly, and a bedroom that was very quiet and perfect for sleep. The hotel also has a gym and breakfast is included. This hotel used to be the 'go to' hotel for all who worked in the international development sector (including me) and i still love it. The location is perfect, close to all the action -- short walks to the canal path, restaurants on Elgin Street, Parliament Hill, the Byward Market, the Rideau mall, and the National Arts Centre."

"The location was ok. Right beside a mall, and a few mins away from the parliament. I liked the feel of the room, spacious, and comfortable. We were constantly surprised with the items provided for convince, like a full kitchen, washer, dryer. The room was very clean. The parking was very tight, and you need to check in first before you can park. The security is good, given the surroundings. You need a key card to get in, and on to your floor. We also used the pool. Also very clean."

"Great location. Clean simple apartment-style hotel. Perfect for people who want to be able to cook a little. Needs updating (hallway carpets look a little less than perfect), but is great for independent travelers who want a home base that is close to downtown. The staff were great! We would always stay there if they had one everywhere we traveled. Felt like home away from home."
