Ok, I can't write the review I wanted because I ran out of characters, so here it is in a nutshell. 1. First room air conditioner leaked, smelled musty & moldy 2. Second room's blow dryer didn't work. Had to use the hair dryer in the first room (which hadn't been cleaned after 3 days) 3. Front desk rarely had anyone at it...had to ring the bell for assistance 4. Printer in the business center was out of ink the entire 5 days we were there 5. The pump in the pool was not working so it wasn't the cleanest 6. Pool towels were only out there once, and the dirty towels were still out there after at least 3 days 7. On Sunday morning, the lady behind the desk had been there for 18 hours straight as her replacement was at least 1 1/2 hours late. I think she finally just left because the next two times I went to the desk for something, I kept being told that the manager would be there shortly. It was at least another 1 1/2 hours before someone was finally there. 8. Air conditioners ran for 15 seconds, then shut off for 60 seconds, ALL NIGHT AND DAY! Yes, I timed it. 9. Food was OK when they had some. They ran out of eggs at least twice, and ran out of meat at least once. Orange juice tasted watered down, and milk was bordering on sour. 10. There was no laundry soap for the washer, just dryer sheets We were very disappointed in our stay there as we have stayed at other Comfort Suites that were much better.

I had to wait 20 minutes before checking in because of computer issues. When I got to the counter they couldn't find my reservation. I was given a room that was reserved for the last name of winter. My ID was never checked and I/m guessing the person that got my reservations room was never checked. I had 2 queen beds reserved and when we got up to the room it was 1 queen bed. The couch was dirty and looked like it a bear had attacked it. The toilet had dirt in it and part of the seat broke off when I sat on it. The bed was comfortable at least.

Lovely hotel and staff!

Pros: Convenience and price.
Cons: The sofa BED was not very comfortable, but as it was only one small person sleeping on it, the sofa itself proved perfectly sufficient.
Location: The northshore is just a lovely place to be, with New Orleans and the gulf coast only 1/2 hour to 45 minutes away.
Very convenient on the northshore and just a jump to the causeway. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Any issues (which were more family quirks than issues with the accommodations) were immediately addressed. And while I did not choose the hotel because of the cookies, they were a HUGE hit with the cookie eaters!

new owners? new management? something has changed

something has changed and not for the better..... I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times over the last few years and usually it is nice. This time, not so much. The deadbolt to my room did not work. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they knew about that for a while now. Also, the smoke detector had been removed from the ceiling (wires hanging down). Thinking both a deadbolt lock and a smoke detector are safety issues, I did mention it again to another staff member, who said they would send the repairman. Never repaired while I was there. I returned to my room the second day around 6 pm. Housekeeping had not come. I called the front desk and asked for fresh towels, which I was told they did not do. When pushed, they said I could bring my dirty towels down to the front desk and they would give me clean ones. Finally, housekeeping did knock on my door shortly after 7 pm. The staff was very friendly, the bed very comfortable and the hotel is in the perfect location for me. But a lack of safety and cleaning being such an issue makes me think twice about this hotel.

After a very long day of driving, we walked into a very comfortable place with inviting people:) I am a freak on cleanliness and let me tell you--- they ROCKED it in this area!!!!

Great Relaxing Stay!

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Clean and fresh! Hotel was a nice retreat for us. Close to restaurants but not right in the middle of things. Large, comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. A fantastic value for the dollar. Could not have asked for more.
