Beautifully decorated. It will be better when the restaurant is open. Please be sure to include low priced items on the menu and a variety of choices. Coffee was great and all the staff very polite and friendly.

Wonderful Historic Property

Pros: The rooms, staff, common area, and bar were fantastic.
Location: Convenient location in downtown Covington, Louisiana. The hotel is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Southern. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless. The room felt fresh and new, while at the same time captured a cozy, historic charm.
