The cabin was absolutely perfect.

The cabin was beautifully kept, cozy and peaceful with every detail, thoughtfully designed for a relaxing getaway with family. The driveway was a little challenging, but overall a good experience.

Beautiful Stay in the Smokies

Had a wonderful time at CliffHanger Cabin! The cabin was beautiful and as described. Check in and check out were super easy, and there were no issues with our stay. We enjoyed the lovely views and had plenty of room to cook, play games, and hang out. We appreciated the instructions for arriving and parking and look forward to our next stay.

We stayed here for our 21st anniversary, and it was perfection. It is rare to find a place that strikes such a seamless balance between high-end modern design and that cozy, soulful 'cabin' feel. The cleanliness was impeccable—truly spotless. The hosts have thought of everything: from a fully stocked coffee bar that fueled our mornings to a great selection of board games for rainy afternoons. Those extra touches, like the snack basket, made us feel so welcome. If you want a sophisticated mountain retreat, this is it.

Cliffhanger Cabin

We had a great fall break vacation at the Cliffhanger cabin. We lived the view and especially the luxurious bathrooms! Also loved watching football on the big screen upstairs while playing pool!

Beautiful

Beautiful place and gorgeous views of the mountains! We saw a mamma bear and 4 cubs on our first day! Highly recommend you will love the master bedroom and bathroom and the game room upstairs! Everything was perfect and super clean.

Relaxing and Peaceful

We really enjoyed staying at the Cliffhanger Cabin. It was peaceful and relaxing. The Hot tub was a delight to relax in and see the lights across town. I would highly recommend the cabin to anyone that wants to just get a way form all the stress of everyday life. We will rent again if we are in the area.

Running for the mountains

Great view

My family and I had the best time at this house. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and more and was so cozy! Our favorite memory was seeing our bear friend in the morning in the woods from our porch, such a neat experience! Also was thankful for the prompt responses from the owner regarding some questions I had prior to arriving. We would definitely recommend this property to others!

Great stay!

The cabin was very clean and well equipped! We especially liked the identical suites as there were two couples in our group. The location is great! There are other cabins nearby, but none within view of the balconies. The driveway is a little tricky, but we found it easiest to back down so you’re not backing blindly onto the road when you leave. Communication with Meital was also great! We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Cliffhanger Cabin

Cliffhanger Cabiin is beautiful! We had a great time staying there! Even saw a bear come up to front door Wednesday morning(Jul 17)! Girls loved it; we thought it was very cool, too! Plenty of things to do there; games, pool table, foosball, pac-man video game + all the attractions in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge just a short drive away! We packed our days full!

World class

This is my family's second time staying at CliffHanger. Meital's properties are a in a class all by themselves. Whenever I look for short term rentals in other states, I am always comparing it to CliffHanger. Even great places don't rise to the level of a Meital rental. The decor is gorgeous and no amenity has been forgotten. World class. We will be back again.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful! The scenery was breathtaking—especially in the mornings, looking out at the mountains. Fireplaces on both porches, upstairs and downstairs, added so much charm. The game room was a huge hit with the kids, complete with a foosball table, pool table, and arcade games. They loved having their own upstairs space with a mountain view. The master bedrooms were spacious and beautiful, and the bathrooms were spotless and nicely decorated for Christmas. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, everything about this cabin was fantastic. We had such a wonderful time that we will definitely be coming back again! Even our family who saw pictures while we were here asked us to share the cabin details so they could book it in the future.

Excellent chalet with everything you may need for a great getaway yet just a quick drive down the mountain to Gatlinburg. The hot tub and the gas fireplaces and gas fire pit allowed us to enjoy the outdoor decks even with cool temps. The beds are very comfortable and the multiple TVs allowed me to watch football in any room and deck I wanted. Ober Gatlinburg is also just a few minutes away so one day we parked there and took the scenic tram down the mountain into town then back up after dinner to avoid the traffic and parking in town. We loved this chalet and hope to be back in the future. Meital is an excellent host and answered our questions promptly when we had them. The 2 master bedrooms are pretty much identical including the same spa-like shower rooms in each master bedroom. I highly recommend a stay at The Cliff Hanger.

Great Girl's Weekend

My life-long friends and I have been getting together for a girl's weekend for over 25 years now. This cabin rates as one of the best rentals we've stayed in. Everything in the cabin was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked and the refrigerator was very large to hold our groceries. The two master suites were spacious and the bathrooms were like stepping into a spa. Both decks were so comfortable and only wish the weather had been a bit warmer for us to sit and relax longer but it was too chilly. The view is beautiful and it's so peaceful. Meital, the property owner, was wonderful. Great communication and quickly answered any questions we had. We give this rental a 5 star rating! And would recommend it to anyone.

All you need

This property is everything you want in a mountain vacation. Short distance from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Beds are comfortable and warm for those cold nights! Duel head showers in the master bedrooms are awesome!! Kids loved the pool table,the hanging swings and the outside fireplace on the second deck! Would definitely go back!

Family getaway

Absolutely amazing!! Came for a short getaway and everything was perfect. Cabin was immaculate with so many extra amenities. We watched the sun rise from inside the jacuzzi, then spotted a momma black bear with her two cubs off in the woods. There were so many things to keep us entertained at night from playing pool and poker to just lounging in the outside rockers by the fire. And the bathrooms!!! I could just live in those enormous tubs. The extra robes were a bonus! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. The owner checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was as expected. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The cabin was in immaculate condition and incredibly clean. The lanyard with discount codes for certain attractions in town such as Anakeesta was amazing. It was perfect for our one year anniversary. It was a very short drive to Gatlinburg. The two story private balcony with fireplace, TV and hot tub was relaxing beyond belief. It was very comfortable and cozy with plenty of room. Beds were comfy. Shower and soaking tub were delightful as well. 11/10. Would recommend to family and friends for sure. We hope to make it back in the future. Thank you for sharing this amazing space!!!
