"The check-in process was not great. We had stayed here before so were surprised by this most recent experience. The line was long and staff members few so it took over half an hour. The room number on the key sleeve was not written well so the keys did not open the door we thought was our room. We went back to the front desk and another person recoded the keys. Went back to the room; opened the door; and found it was occupied by someone else. Fortunately, no one was in. We were so horrified that we opened someone else's door. Went back to the front desk a third time and that was when they discovered the room number on the sleeve was not well written. They also did not assign us a room with the view of the marina, as we had requested and paid for. So after three tries, we finally got the right room. The property needs upgrades and while the location is great, we would not likely return again. Thanks."

"It's an older hotel, very clean with plenty of space. The staff and amenities were so-so. The area near the hotel was really nice with restaurants and shopping a 5 minute walk. The fishing and charter boat piers are about a ten minute drive. For an overnight stay it was exactly what we needed."

"We checked in and the Room was damp, floor boards was raised at the ends from the dampness. No air filtration system in the rooms and felt like I was out of oxygen. We immediately asked reception to move us and they change our room to another room exactly the same so we decided to cancel our reservation and try and find another place. We found a room at residence inn at Wallnut creek and room was decent."
