"Be prepared for hidden fees once’s there. My itinerary said I owed 200$ at the time of check in. Turned out to be 600$. Was told valet parking and the random resort fees that I was not told about prior also came out of that. They did not I had been charged the 40$ a day for valet in which you have no choice but to use and 45$ a day for resort fees. I booked through Expedia and was told by the resort employees that since I booked through them it’s not there problem I wasn’t told about the fees upon arrival, I even spoke with Expedia and the resort multiple times prior to coming to verify everything being paid up and what not. Very disappointed especially coming with a budget"

"We have stayed at the Perry Hotel many times. I love the modern touch of the hotel, with extremely clean rooms and a well maintained pool. The staff are extremely friendly and always provide great service especially Jessica who serves poolside. Jessica is always on point with maintaining the pool area, taking food orders and drink orders. If Jessica isn’t working I do notice that the pool area can lack cleanliness due to drinks cups, old towels and trash laying around. The food is always really good by the pool. I do wish the hotel had a gym for when we stay for staycations. Overall we have had great experiences staying here. The rooftop restaurant is a great touch with a really great menu and a great view. We have stayed only as adults and with our ten year old, so it is kid friendly."

"The young man at the front desk seemed quite stressed. When he asked for the ID of the person who made the reservation, I couldn't remember if I had booked it under my name or my husband's. He asked for a phone number, and when he couldn't find the booking under mine, he was quite arrogant; he immediately took my husband's number and completely ignored me, acting very unkindly and somewhat dismissively toward me. I felt terrible at that moment. However, I am writing this review so that he might change his attitude and realize he should always treat everyone with the same courtesy, regardless of whose name is on the reservation—especially since I was the one who chose this hotel. Otherwise, the breakfast staff and everyone else are very friendly, the hotel has excellent facilities, and we love the breakfast."

"Great place to stay on Sanibel Island. Room was clean and cute. Loved that they had beach loungers and an outdoor shower. We walked the beach picking up shells and loved our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely choose to stay here again."
