Cute little bungalow on the edge of the Ocala national forest. Lake George is walking distance from the front door. Salt springs park is a mile down the road in one direction and silver glen is a mile in the other direction. Swim, fish or ride the trails all day and come home for a fire in the back yard and a comfortable bed.

Our stay

The home was small but very cute. We enjoyed our stay but it wasn’t as clean as we had hoped. The sheets and bedding were old and the mattresses were very stained. Other than this, very cute space and the location is nice!

Salt Box

Upon arrival the power was out and stayed that way for a couple of hours our first day. The second day the hot water went out. I tried washing clothes on a cold wash and there was dirty rug's and towels in the washer that had been left. I don't know who washes floor rug's and towels together, that's gross. So I tried to wash clothes and my our clothes ended up smelling worse than when I used the washer. They got the hot water fixed on Sunday. Wake up Monday and we once again had no power. I tried talking with the owner Kari and she was only willing to give Us, an additional night at half off. Considering all of the problems her property has, it should have been free. The property is miss represented on the VRBO site, we were only the second guests and the property is not ready for guests. I would never rent this property again, there's no wi-fi and the area has very limited cell phone service.
