This was not somewhere I would stay again. The check in agent, Steve, was kind and efficient. However, the room was sub-par. The bathroom was "clean" but the bathtub was peeling and stained. The cold water faucet on the sink was broken and would turn all the way around. We were able to turn it off mostly, but it would not stop dripping. The carpet was stained. There was supposed to be a refrigerator in the room. There was not. I could go on. This place needs some serious updating. I'm sure Tenafly, NJ is not a prime destination but you all could do better.

Nestled in Tenafly near shops, restaurants, etc. its conveniently located. The hotel itself is supposed to go under renovations based off conversation by personnel there, however, we have stayed twice in the past few months and have not seen any work being conducted. Hope it happens because it's a nice hotel location and overall, in okay condition.

- Avoid the Commissary: - Hot Bagels is a 4 minute walk and has $2 or $3 coffee, don’t purchase anything from the hotel, the same snacks are a 3 minute walk away at CVS or 7-11 (open 24 hours) for half the price. - Mr.Wok has incredible food and is also walking distance. $3 miso soup and $5 rolls. Or there is an all you can eat Japanese restaurant but the quality isn’t great. - Avoid the laundry room. The washer gives very little water and you’ll find yourself doing multiple loads. Instead call Bergan Laundry Service - It’s cheaper and saves you time.
