"Our group of seven stayed here for a week, and unfortunately the experience did not fully match the listing description. The listing stated that there was a laundry machine, which was one of the reasons we booked this property for a longer stay. However, there was no washer/dryer on site, and we had to spend hours at a laundromat during our trip. When we brought this up to the owner, they claimed the mistake was Vrbo’s fault, but since it’s their listing, it really should be accurate and updated.The dishwasher was also not usable — the latch was broken, so it wouldn’t hold soap, and it was dirty with old food left inside. In addition, when we arrived, there were crumbs throughout the living room, which suggested that the cleaning before our arrival wasn’t very thorough.The cabin itself had potential, but these issues made our stay less convenient and comfortable than expected. Future guests should be aware of these shortcomings until they’re resolved."

"Overall this was a nice secluded area. Check in was easy. The actual house was quite dated which isn’t too big of a deal. However the basement had a bit of an odor, there was also outlets in both downstairs bedrooms that didn’t work and outlets were limited anyway. The tv downstairs we could not get to work. Lastly the power went out (no big deal) except we couldn’t find any flashlights or anything besides matches and one candle. We have young kids so it would’ve been nice to have flashlights as it was very dark and we didn’t want to waste our phone battery since we weren’t sure when the power would come back on. On the bright side it was very peaceful and we saw some great wildlife around the area. "
