The Rimrock is a beautiful and the hotel is lovely. The review is in regard to the dogs in the adjacent room that barked for 7 hours straight, as their owners went into town. I respect pet friendly hotels, and am a dog-owner, however, this was beyond poor behavior on behalf of the owners. Several calls, and visits to front desk did not resolve the issue. Lots of $$ to listen to dogs bark for hour straight.

Wonderful experience at the Rimrock. This is officially my favourite place to stay in Banff, and yes I have been lucky enough to once stay at the castle. Such a relaxing tranquil winter escape. Staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay extra special. So many pleasant surprises to enjoy in addition to the breathtaking view. Comfy spacious rooms, great food and food specials during the week. Great spa and amenities, cozy fire pits with blankets, and the free bus pass made for convenient, hassle free exploring. See you next year as we will defiantly be back.

Great Resort Getaway
We had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was in easy walking distance to the Banff Gondola and Upper Hot Springs. We loved the breakfast buffet that they serve on the weekend. Our room had a great view of the mountain scenery. The place is pet friendly but still clean. We used the gym every day. They had a good variety of equipment some needed maintenance.

Everything is beautifully and the view is absolutely breathtaking! Only issue is the lack of dining options for us, we are gluten-free vegans and there was one thing on the menu (other than a house salad) that we were able to eat for dinner. There were no options for breakfast.
