This place is a decent price, but you get what you pay for. The building we stayed in was old and not clean. The carpet was old and dirty. The room had a strong smoke smell that I assume was from the fireplace. There aren't enough parking spaces on the property, so parking is difficult. It was VERY loud in the evening into the night; several parties seemed to be going on. Coming back to our room was unfortunately the worst part of our trip. If you can reserve a room in one of the newer buildings, the experience may be better, but honestly, I would spend a few more $ and stay at a nicer place. I recommend not staying here.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am disappointed to hear that you would not return and felt that the room was old and unclean. I do wish that you had made us aware of your disappointment during your stay so we had the opportunity to rectify these issues to ensure you could have enjoyed the remainder of your visit. Our front desk is also manned 24/7 and we have a security team readily available for any disturbances that may occur onsite. In future, I would ask that you call the front desk to make us aware of any noise issues so we can rectify these immediately. We are a family friendly resort and do have a quiet time that we enforce. Our parking is on a first come, first serve basis but we do also have 2 underground parkades that are accessible to our guests. If parking ever is an issue, one of our team can always assist in checking the property and finding the best place for your vehicle. Again, I would like to apologize that your stay did not live up to expectations and hope that we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with the stay you deserve.

The property was very beautiful but the room smelled like fire all the time. The walls dirty and the screens in the sliding door and windows all broken it was a very depressing room to come back too all the time. Floors unclean also.

Spacious. Far from town but you get free Roam bus passes to get around. The only complaint is the people above were really loud with heavy feet. “Thump, thump, thump”

Needs Major Updating

Pros: Great location and views. Hot tub was great.
Cons: Carpet, beds, couches need to be replaced.
Location: Lots of great hiking and things to do in Banff. We loved our time in the town of Banff.
The location is fantastic. Gorgeous views. The rooms need a lot of updating. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the refrigerator didn't work (found this out when our milk went sour), and there was no comfortable place to sit in the living area. Great layout for the condo, but didn't feel that it was terribly clean. Also, lots of noise outside of our room in the middle of the night.

Worst experience on our trip

The very first thing my wife and I noticed when entering our room was an overwhelming cigarette smoke smell. We were close to asking for a new room but it was late at night and we were exhausted so we decided to just deal with it. The room was also very hot so I walked around looking for some sort of AC unit but couldn't find anything. We go to bed and were hot, sweating and extremely uncomfortable, even with the covers off. I decided to open a window to let in some cool outside air, except now we had to listen to drunk people yelling loudly. After being kept awake by drunk people until12:30 am, I decided to just shut the window and deal with the heat. We slept horribly the rest of the night and woke up to find that the water had been turned off on the entire premises, so we couldn't even use water to shower, flush toilets, make coffee, brush our teeth etc. When checking out I mentioned the smoke smell to the person at the front desk and she was very unconcerned, so I didn't even bother getting into the rest of the issues. Oh and the wifi signal was too weak to use in the bedroom we slept in. We had to go into the living room area to get a signal. Overall I'd say this was one of my worst hotel experiences ever. On the plus side the "condos" can sleep a lot of people and there's a full kitchen. There's a fireplace that can be enjoyed if the room isn't already hotter than hades.
