"Spacious, clean room. The personalized greeting on the tv and phone were nice. Pool was out of service but they gave the option of the other hotel pool. It was quite a walk so we didn’t go. Casino is nice, friendly staff. Bad experience at the sandwich place. Waited over 20 minutes for cold sandwiches, I asked the supervisor (who as at the register) at the 20 min mark, she was dismissive and said ‘he’s making sandwiches now so they must be yours’ without ever checking. Guy making them finally called my name after another wait. Was rude when I asked if the sandwich w no cheese was marked. Turkey sandwiches were not good, my family thought they were fish! Would have ordered room service to avoid the frustration but was told no room service to this hotel only the one inside the casino. Overall good stay room was nice clean and comfortable"

"I loved the Lodge on the Desert. It’s one of the few classic, beautiful, old school hotels that harken back to the ‘40’s and ‘50’s. Many movie stars stayed there. But what sets Lodge on the Desert apart is that it’s unpretentious and true Arizona while having beautiful rooms and grounds. The restaurant is great and the bar has wonderful margaritas. The pool was a restful oasis. I think the Lodge will be my go to in Tucson now."

"This spot is a gem. The staff are delightful, there was surprise live music, the renovated room was cute and clean. We loved the funky artsy vibe. Only meh was breakfast: the oatmeal bar and the pop tart station were cute, the coffee was excellent, but they were out of everything else advertised (no juice, no bread, etc.)"
