Very old and dated. Strange strong flowery smell when entering room, to mask odors? Floors are laminate and feel dirty, did not walk barefoot in the room. Main floor sliding glass door extremely dirty (with slime?). Screen door not on track so would not slide properly. Bathroom seemed ok thankfully. Went to reception to get a coffee in the morning. Designated area across from reception was unkept with coffee spills and no coffee in the canister. Asked the young lady at reception if there was more coffee, she literally just shrugged her shoulders.

Not a fan of the extra pet fee, but some dogs are messy. Dropped $200 on the room, asked for a pet one and was prepared to drop the extra only to be told there would be an extra $20+ for the ground floor room, where the pet friendly rooms are. That’s not a $25 pet fee, that’s a $55+ extra charge.

Travelling from Ontario to the east coast. Close to the Hwy and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Travelling with a support animal and we were given a Main floor room with a patio access to the lot where we parked just outside our room. Hotel was beautiful, clean and our room was very quiet. Staff were very polite and professional and our stay was perfect.

We were not there long enough to enjoy the facilities, but the pool area looked lovely. The lobby was gorgeous but the hallways leading to the accommodations were dark and had very low ceilings - it almost felt confining. The rooms were decent sized. Bed was terrible. We had a "garden" view which is just a grass area with some tables and chairs. Out patio door kept sticking but the staff were fast coming out to look at it. The bathroom is split (door to toilet and tub - not sink) but you couldnt turn on the light in the toilet area separately. The light also turned on the sink which is then lit up the rest of the room. Not convenient for multiple guests in the middle of the night. Overall a decent place for a stopover.
