Portland Harbor Hotel
"A lovely historic hotel in the part of town with great restaurants and tourist attractions. Only valet parking is available, and to tip the valet you need to know their name as it is on line via a QR code! Beware technological luddites. As far as the hotel is concerned, we paid (modestly) extra for ..."

The Westin Portland Harborview
"We loved the Harborview! My husband and I took a mini-getaway to Portland so stayed only one night. I wish we had been there longer. It was a nice, clean room with a comfortable bed, and the view was GREAT. Every staff person we encountered was lovely and helpful. I have to say, the elevators were ..."

I have to say, the elevators were blazing fast. Maybe that's a weird thing to notice, but it was kind of great! No waiting! We ordered room service after plans unexpectedly changed, and it was delicious. Also, the breakfast at the cafe on site was also delicious. My only complaint is that the showers are the rainfall kind, which I hate. But that's not enough for me to get bent out of shape about. Our whole stay was just great and I can't wait to go back! Oh, also, rooftop bar is great! Just closes a bit early. Still, overall the whole place gets an A+ from me."
