"This property is beautiful and very well kept. I think every room has an ocean view but not all rooms have a balcony. I wish we had paid extra for one, as it would have been nice to sit there in the evening. The property is VERY hilly and there are lots of stairs and ramps. They have little shuttle carts that take you everywhere and there are lots of them. You can call for one and they'll be there really quickly, sometimes before you can get outside. The beaches are beautiful and immaculate. There's 4 beaches, but the smallest one is not a swimming beach. The beach by the Mexican restaurant has a coral reef that you can walk out to and see lots of fish. We always found seating on one of the three beaches. There's lots of palapas and lounge chairs. Drink service is frequent and fast. Same at the pools. The pools are all close together and far from the rooms. If you forgot something in your room it's a long way back. The food was just okay and got repetitive. I'm a vegetarian & I struggled to find things without meat. They mislabeled things sometimes that appeared vegetarian but weren't. We should have booked more a la carte dinners as the Kasbah was really good. There was even a belly dancer. But even there, the vegetarian soup had meat in it! The resort isn't walking to distance to any restaurants but you can take a cab into town for about 100 pesos. It's about 10 minutes away. The shows are okay, just basic. All the food closes at 10:30 even the snack bar."
