Awful… do NOT book
Check in was a breeze. The Sundestin staff were great. This unit is managed by a property management company and they are AWFUL. The listing & email I received after paying in full stated the outdoor pool would be closed during our stay due to a “rebeautification” project, what they failed to mention was that the splash pad, outdoor hot tub, and indoor hot tub would also be closed. Additionally we booked this unit to accommodate our family of 4 - the pull out coach had no sheets, blankets, or pillows - my children had to sleep with beach towels… I contacted the property management company shortly after we checked in on Saturday and have YET to hear back… Tuesday at 6:30pm. The unit smelled STRONGLY of cigarette smoke & food, so much so we had to go buy spray and open the balcony doors to let it air out. They gave us 3 wash cloths for 4 people to use for 3 nights…. There’s black mold under both of the vanity’s in the bathroom…. The king bed had dirty sheets on it… which had hair and stains. The unit has potential but is not being kept up with and the management companies customer service lacks so much I highly discourage anyone from booking this unit, and if you have already booked I would cancel right away. VRBO even has attempted to assist and hasn’t received a response from the “host”. Completely unprofessional.
